In 2007, come and celebrate more than just Canada Day! Through the remarkable partnership established with the Mackinaw Area Visitors Bureau and Mackinaw Crossings Management, we want you to "Come On Over" and help us to celebrate "421 Years"! Canada is turning 140 years old on July 1st, the United States is celebrating 231 years of Independence on July 4th and the highly anticipated Mackinaw Bridge 50th Birthday celebrations run throughout the summer!
Join us along with your fellow tourism partners during the 2nd Annual Canada Day Celebration at the #1 Tourist Destination in Michigan. Mackinaw Crossings is situated in beautiful downtown Mackinaw City located only 45 minutes south of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Over 2.4 million tourists visit Mackinaw City annually and an estimated 30,000 tourists visit during the July 1st weekend alone!
Book your holidays now and remain in Mackinaw after Canada Day to enjoy the spectacular 4th of July fireworks plus many other planned summer festivities. The Canada Day event will jumpstart the celebrations and kick off the weekend to help educate the U.S. traveling public about Canada and encourage them to visit Ontario through the Northern gateway known as Sault Ste. Marie-Algoma. We continue to work hand-in-hand with the International Bridge Authority and will once again provide the vacationing American public with a complimentary "International Bridge Pass" into Canada through Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. As a direct result of last year's event, we well exceeded our target of 800 visitations and welcomed over 1,200 visitors into Canada through Sault Ste. Marie!
Don't Miss the Pierre Schryer Trio June 30th and July 1st, 2007
